The holiday season has joyfully passed us yet Speake-Marin has so much to offer not only for specific timings but also for all those never to forget moments. Here we present the various temptations on offer from the Swiss watchmaking brand.

Shenandoah – J-Class Collection
The Shenandoah is the first ladies collection from Speake-Marin. This collection was unveiled during Baselworld 2015 in 12 versions: equipped with one or two time zones, in white or red gold, gem-set or stepped bezel, this new timepiece will win over all women who have an eye for beauty. As with all watches in the J-Class collection, this watch has been given the name of a famous schooner launched in 1902: Shenandoah. This exceptional sailing boat, one of the oldest and most beautiful traditional yachts in the world, bears the name of a river in Virginia, United States, which in Amerindian means “the beautiful girl of the stars”.

Feminine down to the smallest detail, it lends a touch of softness to this masculine world.

Wing Commander & Seafire – Spirit Collection
The Spirit collection is the most utilitarian of all Speake-Marin collections. Peter Speake-Marin was inspired by the British military and pilots watches of 60 years ago to make the vintage designs of the Spirits. Today there exists two types of models in this collection: the Spirit Seafire with chronograph plus date and the Spirit Wing Commander with its large date and power reserve indications. In 2015, these two models bring a little color to their dials parrying red, blue or orange.

Magister Tourbillon – J-Class Collection
In 2014 Speake-Marin launched the Magister Tourbillon. This year, Speake-Marin presented at Baselworld a new version with a dial made in enamel. In addition two new models: a tourbillon in red gold housed in 38 mm and 42 mm as well as a baguette diamond set bezel version in 42mm.

The Magister Tourbillon brings together everything that is quintessentially Speake-Marin: an eye-catching tourbillon, sculpted heat-blued hands, iconic Piccadilly case, fluted crown and finely finished movement, featuring a platinum micro-rotor. The Magister Tourbillon at 6 o’clock features a hand-finished 60-second tourbillon shown through its enamel dial. The platinum micro-rotor powering the automatic-winding movement can be appreciated through the display back of the grade 5 titanium or red gold case.

Face to face – Cabinet des Mystères Collection
Belonging to the Cabinet des Mystères collection, the Face to Face’s intricate double black skull engraving has been etched onto the dial using an innovative chemical etching technique. The detailed depiction may remind us of our own mortality but the message is upbeat: Let’s appreciate the time we have. Different finishes ensure each Face to Face Watch in this limited edition is a unique piece.
